Teaching
I teach courses on international security, political violence, peacebuilding and social resilience, research design, and field research methods. I regularly lecture on gender, peace and security-related topics.
From 2023-2025, I was Program Director for the MA Peace and Conflict Studies (PECOS) at the University of Oslo. PECOS is a highly selective MA program focused on training young graduates in analysing and addressing current security challenges, conflicts, and peacebuilding interventions.
As PECOS director, I had the privilege of hosting the Annual Oslo Peace and Conflict Lecture (2023) and (2024), and the annual PECOS graduation ceremonies.
Moderating the Annual Oslo Peace and Conflict Lecture 2023 on Climate Change and Conflict, and the 20th Anniversary of the PECOS program.
Giving the graduation speech at the 2025 PECOS Graduation Ceremony.
